String Orchestra
We are a friendly group of string players who work towards performances in the ensemble's concert.
It doesn’t matter what subject you study at Surrey, the Surrey String Orchestra is open to everyone who plays a string instrument and requires no audition! We are a welcoming and friendly group who rehearse weekly, working towards performances in the music department ensemble concerts. In the past, we have performed film scores, arrangements and pop songs in addition to the standard classical repertoire. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings between 6.15 pm and 8 pm in 10 TB 00.
