Joining VetSoc is by far the easiest way for any Veterinary Medicine or Veterinary Biosciences student to ensure that they get the most of the Vet School experience. No matter whether you’re more academically minded, love a good piss up or just want the opportunity to create great memories with like-minded people, there is quite literally something for everyone.

SOCIALS
To make sure Vet School doesn't get too
stressful, we put on regular social events;
these include bar crawls, trips and annual
Vet Balls. Whether you're into drinking or
non-drinking events, we offer the best of
both!

CLINICAL TALKS
We have a range of clinical clubs within
VetSoc, from equine to pathology, which
provide opportunities to learn outside of
lectures. We also have a range of amazing
guest speakers which offer regular talks,
including names such as Pr. Noel Fitzpatrick
and Rory the Vet.

SPORTS
Sports are a HUGE part of VetSoc, taking part
in events such as Vet Varsity and other
matches. We currently have a rugby, football
and netball team - these are covered with the
general membership or are offered at a
discounted rate and are an amazing way to
meet people in your year or older years.

OTHER BENEFITS
As well as everything mentioned, your
membership also includes an AVS
membership which will come in handy for the
infamous AVS sports weekend in October! We
also offer freebies, merch, events and endless
support throughout the year to all of our
members.
