Union Creates: Badges & Buds

Starting university is exciting, but finding your feet on campus can feel like a lot. If you’re new to Surrey and want a relaxed way to meet people, join us for Badges & Buds at AP Plaza. This chilled drop-in activity gives you space to design and make your own badges while chatting with other freshers. No experience is needed, and there’s no pressure to make anything perfect. Just drop in, get creative, and take a break from the Freshers’ Week rush. This is the perfect opportunity to: Meet other freshers in a relaxed, friendly space; Ease into campus life at your own pace; Make your own badge to take home; Try a simple creative activity with no pressure. This is a FREE activity hosted by Surrey Students’ Union. All materials will be provided, and you’ll need to bring your student ID. Start your university journey with an engaging talk about life at the University of Surrey, where you'll learn about student life, campus opportunities, and everything you need to make the most of your time here. Afterwards, head to our exciting carnival-style event, packed with fun games, interactive activities and plenty of opportunities to meet the teams behind the talk. It's the perfect way to settle in, get involved, and kick off your Surrey experience with an afternoon full of energy and excitement!
