Your Union provides free STI kits, condoms and pregnancy tests for all students. You can pop into the Students' Union main offices on Stag Hill and take what you need from reception. You'll find the kits in discreet packaging just past our reception on the left hand side.

Period Poverty Project: Over the last few years, Your VP Support(s!) has been working on ensuring that there are free products for students who have periods, around campus. You should be able to find free period products in most gender neutral toilets across all our campus'.

National Health Service (NHS)

The NHS in the UK is the system that offers residents physical and mental healthcare services. Most healthcare services are free at the point of use but some procedures, medication (prescriptions) and requests (like doctors letters) may need additional payment. If you are international studying in the UK for more than 6 months, you can access the NHS services but you may need to pay an annual fee, called the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS).

Support for Victim/Survivors of sexual violence, harassment or stalking

You can find more information about the support the University can offer, including sexual health support and wellbeing support from our SVLOs (Sexual Violence Liaison Officers) here.
