Friday 6 March

I recently had the chance to visit Cambridge with my sister, and it turned out to be such a memorable day. We started the morning with breakfast at Spoons before heading out to explore the city. As soon as we stepped outside, it began snowing heavily and continued for almost an hour. It was beautiful to see Cambridge covered in snow, and it honestly felt like something out of a movie.

After taking in the snowy views, we spent some time exploring the city and doing a bit of shopping before stopping at a cosy café for lunch. One of the highlights of the trip was visiting the Fitzwilliam Museum, where we explored incredible collections of art, history, and cultural artefacts. We also visited the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, which gave us an interesting look into different cultures and historical discoveries from around the world.

To end the day on a sweet note, we stopped by Jack’s Gelato for some gelato, which was absolutely delicious. After a full day of exploring, we made our way back to Guildford feeling grateful for such a lovely winter trip.
