Monday 23 March
On Friday 6 March, I had the opportunity to attend the Union trip to Mercedes-Benz World for the second time, but this visit felt different as it was a smaller group, making the experience more relaxed and personal.
Before the tour began, I stopped by the café and tried their roasted marshmallow hot chocolate, which was honestly so good and the perfect start to the day.
We then began our guided tour, where we explored the history of Mercedes-Benz and its evolution over the years. It was really interesting to see everything from the oldest models to the most recent cars, and to understand how much innovation has gone into the brand.
One of my favourite parts of the trip was the race simulation, where we got the chance to complete three laps around Silverstone. I’ll be honest, I definitely came last, but it was such a fun experience and everyone really got into it.
After that, we headed into the cinema room to watch a short film about Mercedes-Benz World, which gave even more insight into the brand and what they do.
Before leaving, we had the chance to sit in some of the cars on display, including SUVs and other models, making the experience even more interactive.
Overall, it was a really enjoyable trip and a great way to experience something different, whether that was learning about the history, trying out the simulation, or just enjoying the atmosphere.
