Existence

Why this society should exist • Despite the Economics & Finance Society (EFS), there is currently no dedicated platform for accounting and finance careers at Surrey. • SAFS fills this gap by providing targeted career support, professional qualification guidance, and employability skills. • Offers access to industry professionals, Big 4 firms, and major companies, building networks and real-world insight. • Equips students with CV, cover letter, LinkedIn, and application support, preparing them for internships, placements, and graduate schemes. • Inspired by top universities (LSE, Oxford, Warwick), SAFS provides real-world experience, professional confidence, and industry connections. • Strengthens Surrey’s reputation for business and finance excellence, creating a professional hub on campus for students to thrive.
