The aim of Hack The Root is to bring students together into one supportive, friendly, team-working and learning environment to build confidence, attend as much hackathons as possible, build tech stuff together. The idea is to form a team of serious students that will be with me on every part of the journey through hackathons and get comfortable with each other working together and making it to bigger stage for example Y Combinator Paris, HackUPC, CTFs, cybersecurity hackathons and etc. Before hackathons there will be preparation, team meetings, getting into the comfortable workflow as a team and exchange ideas, building prototypes and then building that at hackathons. With really great ideas we can start further a small company that solves an issue.
The reason is I find a lot of students struggling with confidence and not having done any projects before applying for placements and internships. I want to change that by making them feel part of supportive, ever-changing and lifelong journey through building and learning together on hackathons and start something great together. I believe this environment and life-long journey through building, participating on events together will give them the hands-on experience and confidence and great stuff to talk about on interviews when they apply for placements and internships and even start a small company.
