Aims

Our goal is to create a Padel community within the university of surrey from beginners to advanced. We have some Padel players already here to lay the foundations. Eventually we’d hope to build a team to enter into the NUPL and compete nationally. To build the community we’d be opening “learn to play Padel” where we’d run beginner clinics. As well as have some round robin (Padel mixes) for people to come and play some social Padel.

Existence

Padel is currently one of if not the fastest growing sports in the world. The demand to play is super high, but without proper organization and leadership it’s difficult to create large Padel communities and help people find others of the same level to play with. Having this society would help with that, also for anyone wanting to play competitively or even just learn. It would give them that option as well.
