Aims

Sing-Along Soc aims to: 1) Create an inclusive and relaxed environment where students can enjoy singing along to films in a fun, judgement-free setting. 2) Host regular movie sing-along screenings that encourage active audience participation rather than passive viewing. 3) Promote social connection and student wellbeing through shared, interactive entertainment experiences. 4) Make musical engagement accessible by removing expectations of skill, auditions, or performance ability. 5) Celebrate film and music culture by showcasing a diverse range of musical films, genres, and eras.

Existence

Let’s be honest, everyone sings along to films anyway… just usually alone or with close friends. Sing-Along Soc gives students a space to do that loudly, unapologetically, and together. No auditions. No judgement. Just good films, great songs, and a room full of people having a better time than they expected.
