Whether you're Welsh, have Welsh roots, or simply have an interest in learning about Welsh traditions, language, and history, the society offers a welcoming community where everyone can connect. The society serves as a platform for cultural exchange, bringing together people from diverse backgrounds to learn, engage, and appreciate Wales' unique identity. From social events to language classes and cultural activities, the society aims to raise awareness of Wales' role in the UK and beyond, creating a vibrant environment that fosters inclusivity, pride, and a deeper understanding of Welsh culture for all students at Surrey.

Dyma’r lle i'r llu o fyfyrwyr Cymreig ddod at ei gilydd i gymdeithasu, dathlu, a rhannu diwylliant a threftadaeth gref Cymru. Os un o Gymru wyt ti, os oes gen ti deulu Cymreig, neu os mae jest diddordeb gen ti yn y traddodiadau, yr iaith a hanes Cymru, mae’r Gymdeithas yn cynnig cymuned gynnes lle gall pawb gysylltu at ei gilydd.
Mae’r Gymdeithas yn gweithredu fel llwyfan ar gyfer cyfnewid diwylliannol, gan ddod â phobl o gefndiroedd amrywiol ynghyd i ddysgu, ymgysylltu â, a gwerthfawrogi hunaniaeth unigryw Cymru. O ddigwyddiadau i ddosbarthau iaith ac amryw o weithgareddau diwylliannol, ein nod yw codi ymwybyddiaeth o rôl Cymru yn y Deyrnas Unedig a thu hwnt, gan greu amgylchedd bywiog sy’n meithrin cynhwysiant, balchder, a dealltwriaeth ddyfnach o ddiwylliant Cymreig ymhlith pob myfyrir ym Mhrifysgol Surrey.
Fel Cymdeithas, ein hanelu yw:
- Datblygu rhywle croesawgar i fyfyrwyr Cymreig newydd yn Surrey
- Datblygu cyfeillgarwch
- Dathlu ein diwylliant
- Annog defnydd o’r iaith Gymraeg
- Codi ymwybyddiaeth am y rhan mae Cymru yn chwarae yn y Deyrnas Unedig a thu hwnt
