Aims
Cathsoc aims to create an accessible faith community for all students of Surrey and do outreach events for the local Catholic parishes and community. Our goal is to establish an inclusive environment on campus where all students can come together for fellowship activities. All students, regardless of their religious background, are welcome at all events. We want to build a welcoming environment for students on campus where they may find out more about Jesus, theology, and the Catholic Church and come together for worship, fellowship, and enjoyable social events. We hope to even run courses like prayer meetups and trips to places of religious significance, where students can come to learn about prayer and faith through the help of community.
Existence
Working with the Catholic Parish of Guildford, we aim to run various events throughout the year, as well as helping with the Prayer Meetups right here at the Roundhouse on campus for Catholic students at the University of Surrey.
