Mooting Officer Welcome

Hello everyone my name is Jessica Mathew and I am your mooting officer for this year!

Mooting is an activity that involves oral presentation of a legal issue before a judge in a courtroom setting. 

It is an excellent opportunity for students to gain research, advocacy and presentation skills.

Throughout the year we will have ‘mooting match days’ where teams can compete against one another for some fantastic prizes that are up for grabs!

The law society will hold sessions to help students familiarise themselves with mooting and its rules. We will also share some great tips and tricks that are sure to help you on the way!

Last but not least, It is a great opportunity to meet new people and try something new whilst developing your knowledge and skills.”
