The Student Equality Network works in partnership with students, clubs and societies, the wider Union and the University to develop a calendar of awareness campaigns, events and celebrations throughout the year. We want to support students to shape and lead the campaigns that matter most to them.
Alongside a number of established campaigns, the Union is always open to new ideas and celebrations. Our programme continues to grow based on student feedback, interests and the issues that matter most to our community.
Whether you're taking part in an existing campaign or helping to create a new one, we encourage you to get involved and play an active role in representing and celebrating our student community.
Current Semester 1 Campaigns
The Network currently have several campaigns we are working on for Semester 1 of the 2026-27 Academic Year. All our campaigns try to include a introductory news story/social media post, events/workshops and my lived experience content.
