Your OFFICIAL Surrey Freshers’ Week is here and ready for you with nine incredible nightlife events and a full host of daytime activities for you to get stuck into.

The week starts on Saturday 19 September on your official move-in weekend. During the day, the Lake Bar will be open with a live DJ to start your Freshers' Week off right. Head over for a drink to get to know your new housemates, or spend time with family and friends before they leave! Then if you're looking for some new room decor, head over to the Welcome Lounge for some door sign crafting! To finish your first day, Rubix will be transformed into a Circus for the first nightlife event of the week!

After an explosive first night, it’s time to continue the momentum into Sunday with another Belonging Event during the day. Then to finish off the weekend, head to Rubix for the biggest night of the week as we welcome Fish56Octagon for a Pyjama Party Rave!

Monday will bring slightly more relaxed vibes, with Freshers’ Fest and a Welcome BBQ at the Lake. There will also be a Speed-friending event and Vision Board Crafting to help you take a moment to think about your new campus life, goals and what you want to gain from the year ahead.

On Tuesday, start your day with a Pilates class over at the Welcome Lounge, before heading to the biggest quiz night in Guildford, The Big Rubix Quiz! End the night at our infamous RNB Night, which is always a sell-out!

On Wednesday, start the day with a Free Belonging Breakfast, here you can meet new people and get to know Surrey a little better! Next you could go to either the Lake Bar for some scenic pints, or to Beads and Buds a crafting session at the Welcome Lounge. Then as we head into the early evening why not try Famous First Words at Rubix, a fun karaoke game to test your knowledge! Finish the night with a good time at our beloved Wednesday night: Citrus: Smells like Team Spirit (sports star costume party). 

Thursday leads into more daytime crafts and events for you to check out, with the early evening beginning with Bingo Lingo, a fun-filled, chaotic bingo session with crazy prizes. To end the night, finish at our 00’s Reloaded Rubix night. 

Heading into the end of the week, Friday has lots in store for you. Begin with a visit to Freshers’ Fair to pick up some freebies, sign up to Clubs and Societies, and meet new people. Afterwards, head to crazy golf in Rubix to prep you for our returning nightlife event: Future: House Party. 

Ending off the week of nightlife events is Saturday, with our Freshers’ closing party at Rubix – Foam Party! Survived this crazy week? Head to the Basement on Sunday morning for our survivor’s roast.
