Speak Week is a campaign run by the Voice Zone to gather the views of our student members. Speak Week ran from 18 – 22 November, and we wanted to hear your suggestions for change at Surrey! During Speak Week, we asked all students to tell us what they would change if they were in charge of the University and the Students’ Union.
During Speak Week, we held a Student Voice Forum and your VP Voice, Luana asked a number of questions on topics such as cost of living, academic and wellbeing support, personal tutoring, and accommodation to a panel of senior University staff to hear what improvements they had planned this year. This was a fantastic opportunity for you to attend and make your voice heard by submitting questions during the event which all had a response from the University during or after the Forum.
Speak Week was a busy week, where we also held many other great events such as a Course Rep Social and Feedback Café! We were really pleased to see such a great turnout at the Social, along with the Café where invaluable feedback was provided in a safe space.
