Our spaces are different to the rest of the University; they’re your spaces. We want you to feel at home in our venues and feel free to be yourself. As a not-for-profit charity, when you’re spending time or money in the Union building, dancing in Rubix, or relaxing at Manor Park Social, you’re helping us improve other areas of the Union at the same time.
Rubix
Rubix is your 1,550 capacity Student Venue, split over 4 floors with 5 bars, outdoor patio and balcony overseeing the dancefloor/stage.
The Basement
The Basement is your 250 capacity Student Venue, an easy to hire venue for students to run their own events!
Manor Park Social
Manor Park Social is your restaurant and social space, where you can enjoy pizza, board games, pool and bottomless brunches!
Hari’s Bar
Hari’s Bar is the hidden gem within the Students’ Union. The perfect pub setting with warm lighting and cosy booths.
Community Hub
Your go to shop on campus, as almost everything is just £1.00! Stocking an array of products, including homeware and food.
Young’s Kitchen
Young’s Kitchen is located in the Students’ Union, and offers a range of dishes including sweet and sour, pad thai and dumplings.
LordFalafel
LordFalafel brings traditional Middle Eastern street food to campus. You can order their delicious food online and have it delivered.
The Front Room
The Front Room is your unique social space for meeting friends and relaxing. Full of antique furniture, a pool table and games.
