Speak Week is a campaign run by the Voice Zone to gather the views of our student members. Speak Week runs from 18 – 22 November, and we want to hear your suggestions for change at Surrey! During Speak Week, we will be asking all students to tell us what they would change if they were in charge of the University and the Students’ Union. This is your chance to share your ideas on what you would change, improve, or add to the university experience to make it the best it can be.

Here’s what is happening this week:

Monday 18th, Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd are the dates we will be on the G floor of the Library gathering feedback. Our main aim is to get as many people as possible to fill the ballot, and enter our great prize draw! Sweets & a spin the wheel is included too! Anyone that fills out the ballot box is automatically entered into the draw but spinning the wheel gives them the chance to get extra entries into the draw.

Student Voice Forum (Microsoft Teams)

Also on Tuesday 19th, is our Student Voice Forum. This event is where you get the opportunity to question the University’s senior leadership on issues that matter the most to you. Topics that will be discussed include but are not limited to: The cost of living, academic and wellbeing support and accommodation.

Wednesday 20th: Feedback Café  (Front Room of the Students’ Union) 1-4pm

As a part of our Speak Week Campaign, Students can stop by to grab a free hot drink and biscuits, fill in the Speak Week ballot for a chance to win prizes and share feedback on Surrey life with us. Please feel free to come along and give your feedback from a Rep perspective, as this will be invaluable feedback!

Anytime before Friday 22nd: Provide Feedback on the University’s updated services

Please find sent to your outlook email two surveys, one for MySurreyHelp and one for MySurreyHive where you can provide honest feedback on these services for a chance to win some very big Tesco gift cards! Each survey should take no longer than 7 minutes to complete.
