Become a Student Trustee
We are currently recruiting for Student Trustees to join our Board of Trustees. The Students’ Union’s Board of Trustees meets regularly to discuss and make decisions about the future of the Students’ Union, and ensures that the Union is operating in the best interests of students and fulfilling its charitable purpose.
The Board is made up of your elected Sabbatical Officers and Union Chair, alongside a team of volunteer External Trustees who each bring a different skillset and expertise to the team. We are looking to appoint two new Student Trustees to join the team and help ensure that the current student perspective has a seat at the table.
As a Student Trustee, you will be expected to attend Board meetings (5 times per year), alongside other meetings as required as part of the Union’s committee structure. This is an appointed position, not an elected role.
