This year’s Union Ball and Colours Ball saw an impressive turnout from students across the university, setting the stage for a night of celebration and recognition. With over 200 attendees at each event, G Live was filled with an electric atmosphere as students celebrated the success of individuals, clubs and societies.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the presentation of all the awards, which recognised outstanding contributions to the Surrey University community and beyond. From academic achievements to extracurricular excellence, the awards showcased the diverse talents and accomplishments of the student body.

G Live was packed to the brim with a doughnut wall, pick-and-mix, a photo booth, and the ever-popular presence of Steve the Stag, with which all students could have their photo taken. Dressed to impress in their finest attire, students embraced the opportunity to mingle and make memories with friends old and new.

The support from the attending students served as a testament to the enduring popularity and importance of Union Ball and Colours Ball.

Whether involved in societies, clubs, or volunteering efforts, these balls aim to continue fostering a sense of unity and celebration among the student body for years to come.
